Biological Women

 In women

To say it is good news is to put it mildly. The Supreme Court has decided that biological women are the only women. You cannot join the club unless you were born with XX chromosones. Consequently, the only other sex, namely men, cannot become women. They can call themselves trans, obtain a certificate, dress as they wish but cannot use toilets, changing rooms or other facilities reserved for women. At last, some common sense, and who called the law an ass? It has taken years to protect women in this way. How did we ever get to this position? Why did we accept that men could breastfeed? How could we have ever accepted that men could demand medical attention, as women, when they had a male physiology. The entire situation was absurd.

Discrimination

We are told not to laud this decision and create discrimination. That said, a member of the Green Party in Scotland stated that she was ‘gutted’. What can that mean other than that she does not protect women, that she discriminates against them. Although I support the legal decision, I don’t want to discriminate against trans. People can decide what gender they want and that is fine. However, men cannot go on female hospital wards, use female toilets or female changing rooms. No one is denying the trans state but merely defining what they can and cannot do. The Scottish Government has taken a battering and not before time. They have much to answer for all this confusion.

Biological women

At the current time, women are literally under attack in so many ways. However, gender is purely an idea and not a fact. We have all heard women explain how they, as a child, played with mechanical toys. They became tomboys as a consequence of their experience, not their sex. I always appreciated how my mother stuck by us kids when my pathetic father abandoned us. That is why I see women as the mainstay of society and not men. Consequently, I do not want men to intrude in women’s space. Men, specifically testosterone, is the problem!
